Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions can be requested by returning the repeat prescription slip which accompanies each prescription. These can be posted or faxed to the surgery; or you can put the slip through the letter box at the surgery or you can come to the surgery in person.
Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a registration form and show identification (list above) at the surgery prior to using the service.
The prescription will usually be ready for collection three working days later.
We do not accept routine medication requests over the telephone.
Dispensing Medication
If you live more than a mile (1.6 kilometres) from the nearest chemist you are allowed to collect your medication directly from the surgery rather than having to take a prescription to a chemist. If you would like to do this, please ask at reception.
Prescriptions Advice
Our Dispenser, Shirley Earl, is available to discuss your prescriptions on 01223 519053 every weekday between 08:00 and 12:00.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
